Course Description. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of general chemistry for non chemistry majors.

Course Objectives. Upon successful completion of the course, students are able to understand matter, measurements, calculations, atoms and molecules, chemical structure, periodic law, forces between particles, chemical reactions, states of matter, solutions and colloids, reaction rates and equilibrium, acids and bases, salts, radioactivity and nuclear processes.
