In order to provide options for students that wanted to obtain another degree after graduation, Evangelista developed articulation agreements between the Southwestern College's Environmental Program and 1. California State University, Bakersfield, and 2. United States International University
California State University, Bakersfield Evangelista articulated Southwestern College's Environmental Program with the Environmental Resource Management program atCalifornia State University, Bakersfield. The Environmental Resource Management program offers both traditional classroom and online studies. The online option allows students, with Navy, family, or employment obligations, to achieve a bachelors degree any time of the day, anywhere in the world.
United States International University, San Diego (USIU) Evangelista articulated Southwestern College's Environmental Technology program with the Environmental Studies program at United States International University. The USIU Environmental Studies program was a traditional daytime course of study that allowed students to attend a local university to continue their environmental education and obtain a bachelors degree.
