ROBERT A. EVANGELISTA
BIOCHEMICAL ENGINEER & CHEMIST FOR BIOFUELS & THE ENVIRONMENT

As Assistant Professor at Southwestern College, Robert A. Evangelista developed the Environmental Technology into a major program by achieving a California-approval for the program revision and expansion into two academic emphases. Some of the notable accomplishments made by Evangelista to enrichen the Environmental Technology program are:

 

Evangelista provided hands-on program marketing
through: outreach, presentations, networking,
trade organization
activities, a regional
conference on sustainable development, marketing materials
creation, and the establishment of an advisory board of stakeholders.

 

As an Instructor at the University of California, Davis, University Extension, Evangelista improved the Environmental Management program with new specialized courses and internships developed for Environmental Management students and for Navy civilian workers displaced by the Base Realignment and Closure.
