Materials Management Applications A study of hazardous materials transportation, OSHA Hazard Communication, Community Right-To-Know, Underground Storage Tanks, Asbestos, CA Prop 65, Air Toxics, and Medical Waste regulations. Includes laboratory.
Introduction to Toxicants Presents toxicology, including: routes of entry, acute and chronic health effects, and the body's responses to various chemicals. An introduction to industrial hygiene, risk assessment and risk management, including: exposure limits and control methods for industrial operations and waste management.
Environmental Field Training Internship Provided displaced civilians from Mare Island Naval Station training in: hazardous waste management; site remediation; safety, health and environmental compliance; or pollution prevention.
